Terms of Cancellation explained

Asian lawyers discussing on legal case with document contract

For services and products bought from our company

We value all orders from all customers and we thank you for your order. We may have sent you an email asking you to give us the GO AHEAD to start and complete, because this it was an internet order.

Most services and products offered and sold by our company are bespoke. Meaning they are tailored or adapted only for your needs and circumstances. Such products, eg. certificates and documents, and such services, eg. processes like Customs declaration, Customs clearance, NOVA clearance, and DVLA vehicle registration cannot be taken in to stock and sold to others. Consequently, certain services and products may be judged in consumer law to be exempt from the 14 day cooling off period for digital goods and services and distance selling. Nevertheless we will usually ask you to tell us if you want to waive the 14-day cooling off period and start or complete in less time.

If you came to this web page by clicking a link in our email please read this, return to our email , then reply that you want us to start or complete earlier than in 14 days.

You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days. The cooling-off period will expire after 14 days from the day you receive this notice, which has been emailed in response to your order.

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us (Eurocert t/as Vehicle Registration Services, UNIT 8, 179 WHITELADIES ROAD, Bristol, BS8 2AG, 01179028656, info@dvlaadvice.co.uk) of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use a model cancellation form obtained here: but it is not obligatory.

To meet the cancellation deadline it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cooling-off period has expired.

Effects of Cancellation of the Service Contract
If you cancel the contract we will reimburse all payments received from you, unless you have instructed us to start or complete the contract. We will make the reimbursement without undue delay and not later than 14 days after the day on which you notified us of your decision to cancel. We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. If your payment was initiated by you as a bank transfer, we will require you to give us your bank details and an authorisation to transfer to that account.

Services of DIRECT REPRESENTATION and MULTIPLE-LEVEL SERVICE CONTRACTS

Our representation and agent (and/or intermediary) services such as:

DVLA Vehicle Registration Service (VRS)  |  UK Customs Clearance Service  |  UK hmrc NOVA Clearance Service  | Vehicle Valuation Service  |  DVLA Rejected Applications Appeal Service  |  UK DVSA Type Approval Service  |  UK VCA vehicle Imports Conformity Service

...are bespoke services, and are often multi-layered, depending on the circumstances of the vehicle and the customer and vehicle history. Multi-layered means that, for example, a Customs Declaration Service may include an offer/quotation/billing of a valuation or sourcing a proof of date of manufacture document if it is found during the declaration process that the customer is lacking in such essential documentation for us to complete the service. This may be seen as part of the Customs Declaration Service or may be seen as or judged as a separate service or separate product order. Therefore, you may receive multiple emails for separate services after you have ordered them asking you to authorise us to start work straight away or wait 14 days. Or you may receive one email for the main service, once it is ready to complete, asking you to authorise us to complete the service work or wait 14 days.

Additional Services if you have an absence of key documents

In fulfilling services such as Vehicle Registration Service or Customs Declaration Service, etc., we shall be consistently working to compile and complete documentation for procedures. That is our job, working for you. You are under no obligation to buy additional services.

Please ask us if you do not understand or do not want additional services, which will always be quoted before we act to source or obtain documentation or support documents that you may be lacking. If you paid for a Vehicle Registration Service or Vehicle Import Declaration Service we and/or HMRC and/or DVLA will require certain proofs or documents. We shall always try to help if you do not have them and try to provide solutions. We send a quotation, you can then decide whether you want us to source such documentation or you would prefer to go to another supplier or source it yourself.
